SUP-MF Thermal Mass Flowmeter

The thermal mass flow meter is designed based on the principle of thermal diffusion. The instrument uses the constant temperature difference method to accurately measure the gas. It has the advantages of small size, high degree of digitization, convenient installation and accurate measurement. Reduce your energy costs and increase your sustainability. Monitor your consumption and analyze your leakage flows with just one measuring device.

  • Product Parameters
  • Product Introduction
  • Highly Accurate

Thermal mass flow meters have a very high degree of accuracy because they measure mass flow and are not affected by fluid density, temperature, etc.

  • Rapid Response

Thermal mass flow meters have a very fast response to changes in flow rate, with a response time of about 0.1 seconds.

  • High Reliability

Thermal mass flow meters are extremely reliable as they are flow meters with no moving parts and no errors due to damaged parts.

  • Wide Range

Thermal mass flow meters are suitable for measuring a wide range of liquids and gases.

  • Low Maintenance Costs

Since it has no moving parts, it does not require routine maintenance and calibration, greatly reducing the cost of use and maintenance.

sup-mf thermal mass flowmeter

Thermal mass flow meter is the use of fluid flow through the pipeline heated by an external heat source when the temperature field changes to measure the fluid mass flow, or the use of heated fluids when the fluid temperature rises to a certain value of the energy required and the relationship between the fluid mass to measure the mass flow of the fluid a flow meter.

Gas flow is measured by measuring the cooling effect of the gas as it flows through a heating element within the flow meter. The measurement section through which the gas passes contains two thermal resistance elements, one of which acts as a temperature sensing and the other as a heater. The temperature sensing element is used to detect the temperature of the gas and the heater maintains a constant temperature difference between its temperature and that of the gas being measured by varying the current. As the gas flow rate increases, the greater the cooling effect, the greater the current that must be maintained to maintain a constant temperature between the RTDs. This heat transfer is proportional to the gas mass flow rate, i.e., the supply current has a corresponding function with the gas mass flow rate to reflect the gas flow rate.
