How accurate is the metal rotor flowmeter?

Metal rotor flow meters are widely used in flow measurement with diameters less than 200mm and are suitable for various low flow media. So what is the accuracy of the metal rotor flowmeter?

The electromagnetic flowmeter is an instrument used to measure the flow of conductive liquids. Its accuracy is 0.5. Differential pressure flow meters can measure almost all gas and liquid flows, and their accuracy is between 0.5 and 1.5%. Vortex flow meters are often used to measure steam flow and can also measure liquid media. Its accuracy is between 1 and 1.5%.

The accuracy grade of the metal rotor flowmeter is grade 1.5 for the standard type and grade 1.0 for the special type. Compared with the above-mentioned flowmeters, the accuracy of metal rotor flowmeters does not have any advantage. However, the metal rotor flowmeter is cheap and has a wide measuring range, and can measure both liquid and gas. There is a model that can be disconnected from the power supply and directly displays the flow rate through the pointer. In some remote environments, metal rotor flowmeters also have their special uses.

When choosing a metal rotor flow meter, don’t have too high expectations for its accuracy. There is no problem with it being used in ordinary scenarios.
