In order to ensure the accuracy of remote meter reading vortex flowmeter measurement, its installation environment needs to meet the following points.
1. Vortex flowmeter can be installed indoors or outdoors. Special occasions require communication with the manufacturer in advance.
2. The vortex flowmeter can be installed vertically or tilted on the pipeline. It is preferred to install it at an angle of 30° along the vertical direction of the pipeline axis. When measuring liquids, the pipe must be filled with liquid, so for sensors installed vertically or tilted, the fluid flow direction must be from bottom to top.
3. The vortex flowmeter should be installed on a pipe without mechanical vibration as much as possible.
4. Keep the vortex flowmeter as far away from magnetic and electrical interference places as possible.
5. When installing a vortex flowmeter, the inner diameter of the pipe must be the same as the inner diameter of the sensor. If they are not exactly the same, a pipe slightly larger than the diameter of the sensor should be used, error: ≤3%.
6. There should be a long enough straight pipe section on the upstream and downstream sides of the vortex flowmeter. Due to the different differences between the front and rear, please install it as shown below.
