1. Straight pipe section: The length of the upstream pipe of the vortex flowmeter should be a straight pipe section of equal diameter not less than 10D. If the installation site allows, it is recommended that the upstream straight pipe section be 20D and the downstream straight pipe section be 5D.
2. Requirements for piping: The inner diameter of the upstream and downstream piping at the installation point of the vortex flowmeter is the same as the inner diameter of the flowmeter. It must be installed horizontally on the pipe (the pipe inclination is within 5°). During installation, the flow rate The gauge axis should be concentric with the pipeline axis and the flow direction should be consistent.
3. Requirements for bypass pipes: In order to ensure that the normal use of the medium is not affected during maintenance of the steam vortex flowmeter, stop valves should be installed on the front and rear pipes of the flowmeter, and a bypass pipe should be set up. . The flow control valve should be installed downstream of the flow meter. When the steam vortex flow meter is used, the stop valve installed upstream must be fully open to avoid unstable flow in the upstream part of the fluid.
4. Requirements for the external environment: The steam vortex flowmeter is best installed indoors. When it must be installed outdoors, sun protection, rain protection, and lightning protection measures must be taken to avoid affecting the service life.
5. Installation location: The flow meter should be installed in a location that is easy to maintain and free from strong electromagnetic interference and heat radiation.
6. Requirements for installation and welding: welding with a flow meter is not allowed. Before installing the vortex flowmeter, the pipeline should be cleaned of debris such as debris, welding slag, stones, dust, etc. It is recommended to install a filter with a 5-micron mesh upstream to block droplets and sand. It is best to use equal diameter pipes (or bypass pipes) instead of flow meters to purge the pipes. The user also provides a pair of standard flanges welded to the front and rear pipes.
7. Sealing gasket: When installing the flow meter, the sealing gasket between the flanges cannot be recessed into the pipe to prevent interference with normal flow measurement.
8. Grounding requirements: The steam vortex flowmeter should be reliably grounded and cannot be shared with the ground wire of the strong current system.
9. When storing a used vortex flowmeter, the residual liquid and adhesion inside should be completely cleaned. Also, pay attention to sealing the power interface to prevent moisture.
