In order to ensure the stability and accuracy of liquid vortex flowmeter measurement and avoid the influence of the surrounding environment on the flowmeter, the following requirements should always be followed during installation.
Liquid vortex flowmeter installation environment requirements
1. Try to avoid strong electrical equipment, high-frequency equipment and strong switching power supply equipment. The power supply of the instrument should be separated from these devices as much as possible.
2.Avoid the direct influence of high temperature heat sources and radiation sources. If installation is necessary, heat insulation and ventilation measures must be taken.
3. Avoid high humidity environments and strong corrosive gas environments. If installation is necessary, ventilation measures must be provided.
4. Avoid installation on pipes with strong vibration. If installation is necessary, pipe fastening devices must be installed at appropriate locations upstream and downstream, and anti-vibration pads must be added to enhance the anti-vibration effect.
5. The instrument should be installed indoors as much as possible. If installed outdoors, attention should be paid to waterproofing, and special attention should be paid to bending the cable into a U shape at the electrical interface to prevent water from entering the amplifier case along the cable.
6. There should be ample space around the instrument installation point to facilitate wiring installation and regular maintenance.
Routine maintenance of liquid vortex flowmeter
1. When repairing the vortex flowmeter, pay attention to protecting the probe and do not disassemble it casually to avoid damaging the probe or sensor.
2.If there is dirt in the measurement medium, it needs to be cleaned regularly to ensure the cleanliness of the probe surface.
3. The end cover of the detection amplifier shell should be tightened appropriately after wiring debugging to ensure its sealing. Do not leave any liquid or debris inside the housing during maintenance and inspection.
4. Non-professionals are prohibited from disassembling components without permission to avoid damage to the flow meter.
In addition to the above requirements, when installing a liquid vortex flowmeter, attention should also be paid to: installation on a horizontal pipeline. If the liquid to be measured contains a small amount of gas, the flowmeter should be installed at the lower end of the pipeline. When installing vertical pipes, the liquid flow direction should be from bottom to top.
