Project Overview

The temperature and pressure compensated vortex flowmeter uses the Karman vortex principle to measure flow. It is mainly used for flow measurement of industrial pipeline media fluids. It can measure gas, liquid, steam and other media. According to the characteristics of different media, appropriate temperature and pressure compensation methods can be selected.

1. When measuring gas, temperature and pressure need to be compensated at the same time. Gases are generally settled based on standard volume flow rates, because when the volume flow rate of gases changes in temperature or pressure, the flow rate will change.

2. When measuring superheated steam, temperature and pressure need to be compensated at the same time. Steam is generally settled in terms of mass flow rate, because if either temperature or pressure changes, the density of steam will change, and the mass flow rate will also change.

3. When measuring saturated steam, single temperature compensation or single pressure compensation is required. The density of saturated steam has a fixed corresponding relationship with temperature or pressure (saturated steam density table). If you know any of them, you can determine the density of saturated steam.
