1. Principle and function of vortex flowmeter

It is manufactured using the Karman vortex principle. The vortex flowmeter is composed of a vortex generator, a detection probe and a corresponding sensor designed in the flow field. Composed of electronic circuits, etc. When the fluid flows through the vortex generator, two alternating rows of vortices are formed on both sides of it. This vortex is called a Karman vortex street. It has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, wide measuring range, low power consumption, easy installation, simple operation, and small pressure loss. It can measure working condition volume flow or standard volume flow (integrated intelligent temperature and pressure compensation). According to user needs, it can measure The working volume flow rate is almost not affected by fluid density, pressure, temperature, viscosity and other parameters, and it can be equipped with pulse or 4~20mADC current output function. Precautions for the installation of vortex flowmeter

(1) Requirements for straight pipe sections:

1. The flow meter must be installed horizontally on the pipe (the pipe inclination is within 5), and the axis of the flow meter should be aligned with the axis of the pipe during installation.

The lines are concentric and the flow direction must be consistent.

2. The length of the upstream pipe of the flow meter should be a straight pipe section of equal diameter not less than 10D. If the installation site permits, it is recommended that the upstream straight pipe section be 20D and the downstream section be 5D.

(2) Requirements for piping:

The inner diameter of the upstream and downstream piping at the installation point of the flow meter is the same as the inner diameter of the flow meter.

(3) Requirements for bypass pipes:

In order to ensure that the normal use of the medium is not affected during maintenance of the flow meter, cut-off valves (cut-off valves) should be installed on the front and rear pipes of the flow meter.

Stop valve), and a bypass pipe should be set up. The flow control valve should be installed downstream of the flow meter.When in use, the stop valve installed upstream must be fully open to avoid unstable flow in the upstream part of the fluid.

(4) Requirements for the external environment:

The flow meter is installed indoors. When it must be installed outdoors, sun protection, rain protection and lightning protection measures must be taken to avoid.
