Which flow meters can measure converter gas flow?

In addition to V-cone flow meters, there are other devices used for measuring converter gas flow. The following are several commonly used measurement methods:

1. Ultrasonic flow meter: Ultrasonic flow meter calculates the flow rate and volumetric flow rate of a fluid by sending ultrasonic pulses and measuring their propagation time. This measurement method is non-contact and does not cause pressure loss on the fluid. It is suitable for measuring high-temperature and high-pressure gases such as converter gas.

2. Turbine flow meter: Turbine flow meter measures the flow rate and volume flow of the fluid based on the rotation speed of the turbine. After the gas enters the turbine flowmeter, it causes the turbine to rotate, and the rotation speed is proportional to the fluid flow rate. This type of flow meter is suitable for high-precision low flow rate measurements.

3. Thermal flow meter: Thermal flow meter determines the flow rate and mass flow rate by measuring the heat taken away by the fluid when it passes through the sensor. This measurement method is suitable for low temperature gas flow measurement.

4. Micro orifice flow meter: Micro orifice flow meter calculates the flow rate and volumetric flow rate by measuring the pressure difference when the gas passes through the orifice plate. This type of flow meter is suitable for high temperature and high pressure gas flow measurement and has high measurement accuracy.

When selecting equipment suitable for converter gas flow measurement, factors such as fluid characteristics, measurement accuracy requirements, operating temperature and pressure range need to be considered. Different application scenarios may require different measurement methods and equipment.
