View MoreHigh-temperature electromagnetic flowmeters have high accuracy and stability, but they need to be reasonably selected and used according to actual needs.
In industrial production, electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used as an important measurement tool. However, during the selection and use process, we need to have an in-depth understanding of its performance and characteristics, especially the maximum temperature of the medium it can accept, which is a very critical issue.
We need to be clear that the maximum temperature of the medium that the electromagnetic flowmeter can accept is not as high as we think. In fact, most electromagnetic flowmeters can only be used to measure conductive liquids that do not exceed 120 degrees Celsius. Why is this?
The main reason is that some key components inside the electromagnetic flowmeter, such as the lining, cannot withstand excessive temperatures. These components are important parts to ensure the normal operation of the electromagnetic flowmeter. If they are damaged due to excessive temperature, the entire flowmeter may not work properly.
The main function of the lining is to protect the electrodes and sensors of the flow meter from direct contact with the liquid being measured, thereby avoiding corrosion and wear. At the same time, the lining can also play an insulating role to prevent current leakage. However, the temperature resistance of the lining material is limited. Generally speaking, it will deform or melt when it exceeds a certain temperature, causing the flow meter to fail.
Therefore, when we use an electromagnetic flowmeter, we must pay attention to controlling the temperature of the liquid being measured to ensure that it does not exceed the value that the flowmeter can withstand. At the same time, the lining and other components of the flow meter should also be checked regularly. Once damage or aging is found, they should be replaced in time to ensure the measurement accuracy and service life of the flow meter.
In general, although high-temperature electromagnetic flowmeters have high measurement accuracy and stability, in practical applications, we still need to choose and use them reasonably according to the specific working environment and needs. Give full play to its advantages and provide accurate data support for our production and scientific research activities.
