Explosion-proof vortex flowmeters are mostly used to measure the instantaneous flow and cumulative flow of liquids, gases and steam.
Project Overview
Explosion-proof vortex flowmeters are mostly used to measure the instantaneous flow and cumulative flow of liquids, gases and steam. They can be used in flammable and explosive working conditions, such as natural gas, petroleum, chemical industry and other fields.
The working principle of the explosion-proof vortex flowmeter
The explosion-proof vortex flowmeter measures based on the Karman vortex principle, that is, the fluid passes through the vortex flow transmitter in the pipeline When , two rows of vortices proportional to the flow velocity are generated alternately up and down behind the vortex generator of the triangular prism. The release frequency of the vortices is related to the average speed of the fluid flowing through the vortex generator and the characteristic width of the vortex generator. By measuring the vortex frequency generated by fluid oscillation, the average speed, flow rate and volume of the fluid flowing through the vortex generating body can be calculated.
