How to solve the electrode saturation of electromagnetic flowmeter?

Equipment Configuration:electromagnetic flowmeter

The solutions to electrode saturation in electromagnetic flow meters mainly include the following aspects.

Project Overview

Check and clean the electrodes: If the electrodes of the electromagnetic flowmeter are contaminated, it may cause saturation. You can use a soft brush to clean the contaminants on the electrode, ensuring that the electrode surface is clean.

Check and adjust parameters: When the traffic is zero, check that the Mtsnsr Emval value of the parameter should be greater than 300. When the medium is water and there is flow, check the ground resistance of SIG1 or SIG2, which should be less than 50K ohms.

Check and replace the fuse: If the electromagnetic flowmeter does not display, it may be due to the fuse being blown. At this point, it is necessary to replace the fuse with the same model.

Check and clean the converter: If water enters the converter, power off and clean the water thoroughly. If it still does not display after cleaning, the converter may need to be replaced.

Check and connect signal lines: Ensure that the signal lines are connected correctly and securely to avoid electrode saturation caused by poor signal line connections.

Check and adjust the grounding wire: The reading jumping may be due to the grounding wire not being properly connected. Ensure that the grounding wire is properly connected to reduce electromagnetic interference and avoid electrode saturation.

By using the above methods, the problem of electrode saturation in electromagnetic flow meters can be effectively solved, ensuring measurement accuracy and normal operation of the equipment.
