Project Overview

Vortex flow meters are often used for IC card steam prepayment meters. The vortex flowmeter has small pressure loss, large measuring range and high precision. When measuring the volume flow rate under working conditions, it is almost not affected by parameters such as fluid density, pressure, temperature, viscosity and so on. In order to ensure the long-term stable operation of the vortex flowmeter, corresponding maintenance work needs to be carried out regularly.

• The cover of the flow meter converter must be screwed in place, otherwise water may enter due to poor sealing.

• If the wiring board is faulty or the wiring terminals are in poor contact, the seal of the converter must be checked regularly.

• Regularly check the shielding status and grounding condition to effectively eliminate external interference, because in many cases, indication problems are caused by external interference.

• For measuring media containing impurities, the probe part of the flow meter needs to be cleaned regularly, because when dirt blocks the detection hole of the probe, it will reduce the normal measurement effect and affect the measurement work. .

• In the case of inaccurate measurement, it is mainly checked whether various key parameters are in a reasonable state, that is, the instrument K coefficient, caliber, etc. Closely check whether the measured gas and steam are compensated scientifically, and install a flow meter to check whether the gasket is concentric and extends inside the pipe.

• Vortex flowmeters that measure steam are prone to failure, mainly caused by high temperatures. If the installation position is incorrect, the sensor of the flowmeter that measures high-temperature media should be lower in the middle. Prevent high-temperature steam from floating upward, causing failure of sensor-related components. In addition, the flow meter insulation package is inappropriate. The pipe part of the flow meter is not covered with insulation, but the sensor part is covered with insulation. The correct approach is to wrap the pipe part with insulation and not the sensor part. Insulated and fully in contact with the environment.
