Currently on the market feed water flowmeter manufacturers are very many, each manufacturer's on-site selection capabilities are also different, it is very important to choose an engineer with extensive experience to help select the type. Without further ado, the selection of feedwater flowmeter, the parameters need to confirm the following points:
- 1、Measuring medium. Inlet flowmeter is a velocity type flowmeter, it first converts the flow rate of the medium into the rotational speed of the turbine, and then converts the rotational speed into an electrical signal that is proportional to the flow rate. Its principle, determines the type of measurement medium, can only be gas, or water, pure water, organic liquids, inorganic liquids and other liquids without fibres, particles and impurities. Because fibres, particles and other impurities may entangle the blades of the turbine, or cause damage to them, which in turn leads to the measurement accuracy is affected, or even stop rotating.
- 2、Pipe calibre. Unlike other flowmeters, the calibre of the influent flowmeter can be very small, theoretically can be done to DN4, while other flowmeters generally can only be done above DN15. But the upper limit of the calibre of the water flowmeter is also very small, theoretically can only do DN200, can also apply to most of the needs of the market. Turbine used in some high-precision occasions, such as quantitative control, will be used to feed a lot of water flowmeter.
- 3、Measurement accuracy. There are also several grades of accuracy for influent flowmeters, routinely 0.5 grade, 1.0 grade. These two levels can basically meet the needs of most industrial sites. However, in some of the higher accuracy requirements of the occasion, often need a higher level. - 4、Media viscosity. Previously mentioned the principle of the influent flowmeter, the influent flowmeter is the use of media flow rate is converted to the rotational speed of the turbine, and then the rotational speed is converted into an electrical signal proportional to the flow rate. - 6、Medium temperature. According to the current market demand, the main temperature range is -20 ℃ ~ +120 ℃ (stainless steel measuring tube), if you need a larger range, you can ask the manufacturer, can be customised.
- 7、Power supply. According to the current market demand, the main 3.6V lithium battery; 12VDC; 24VDC three kinds of power supply options, you can select the appropriate power supply in accordance with the site conditions.
- 8、Output signals. According to the current market demand, there are mainly three-wire pulse output, two-wire 4-20mA output. In addition, some occasions may need digital output, we can also provide modbus RS485 communication and RS232 communication.
