HSP balance flowmeter is an energy-saving flowmeter developed and produced by Supmea Measurement and Control. It integrates the functions of a porous orifice plate and a rectifier to achieve high-precision, long-term and stable measurement.
The measurement principle of HSP balance flowmeter is the same as that of differential pressure flowmeter, that is, a fixed flow meter with a flow area smaller than the cross-section of the pipe is placed in a pipe filled with fluid. If there is a blocking piece (commonly known as a throttling device) with an area, the fluid in the pipeline will locally shrink when passing through the throttling device. The flow area at the contraction becomes smaller, the flow rate increases, and the static pressure decreases. Therefore, before and after the throttling device, A certain differential pressure will be generated. The balanced flow sensor not only generates differential pressure but is also a rectifier, so the differential pressure generated is relatively stable. Through the pressure sensing device, a stable differential pressure signal can be obtained, and the volume flow rate and mass flow rate can be calculated based on Bernoulli's equation, which greatly improves accuracy and repeatability, reduces pressure loss and saves pumping costs.
