Steam vortex flowmeter vs balanced flowmeter
Steam vortex flowmeters and balance flowmeters are relatively common flow measurement instruments, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.
View MoreDQV series V cone flowmeter consists of sensor, three-valve manifold, transmitter and other components, need to pay attention to the flow direction, connectors, high and low pressure ports, electrical noise and other installation requirements.
The DQV series V-cone flowmeter is mainly composed of a sensor, a three-valve group, a transmitter, etc. These three will basically exist regardless of the medium being measured. If you measure high-temperature gas, you may also have high-temperature accessories, such as condenser tubes and other accessories. There are certain specifications for the installation of these accessories. If you make a mistake, not only the measurement will be affected, but the flow meter may also be damaged.
Before installing the flow meter, you must pay attention to several requirements:
1. Pay attention to the flow direction of the flow meter and do not install it backwards.
2. All connections must be tightened. All gaskets must not protrude from the inside wall of the pipe.
3. The high and low pressure ports of the differential pressure transmitter cannot be installed backwards.
4. The installation location of the differential pressure transmitter should be away from electrical noise, such as high-power transformers, motors, welding machines and strong power supplies. There should be no radio frequency interference near the instrument, otherwise it will interfere with the normal operation of the differential pressure transmitter.
5. The flow sensor should be installed as close to the valve outlet as possible.
6. Avoid installing the flow meter on an overhead long and thin pipe. If it must be installed, the part where the flow meter is installed must be fixed by the pipe.
In addition to the above requirements, important specifications for horizontal installation and vertical installation must also be paid attention to respectively.
Vertical installation: When measuring liquids, it is best for the fluid to flow from bottom to top to ensure full Tube. When measuring moisture gas, the gas is required to flow from top to bottom. When measuring dry gas flow, the flowmeter does not have strict requirements on the flow direction of the fluid in the pipeline.
Horizontal installation: When measuring liquid, the flow sensor should be installed at the lower part of the pipe. When measuring gas flow, the flow sensor should be selected high in the pipe to ensure that the pipe is full.
For different models of V-cone flowmeters, the installation requirements may be different, but the manufacturer will definitely provide an installation manual. Generally, there will be no mistakes according to the requirements of the installation manual. .
The magnetic inductive flowmeter industry, these are successful cases with comparable and reference value.
