Three principles should be followed when installing a vortex flowmeter: there is no interference from the external environment; the straight pipe section meets the requirements; the pipe must not vibrate.

1. No interference from the external environment

1. Avoid installing the sensor in places with large temperature changes or places that can receive heat radiation from the equipment. If it must be installed, it must There are measures for insulation and ventilation.

2. Avoid installing the sensor in an environment containing corrosive gases. If it must be installed, ventilation measures must be taken.

3. The sensor is best installed indoors. If it must be installed outdoors, moisture-proof and sun-proof measures must be taken. When wiring at the same time, bend the cable into a U shape outside the electrical interface to prevent water from flowing into the amplifier box along the cable.

4. There must be ample space around the sensor installation, and there should be lights and power sockets to facilitate installation of wiring and regular maintenance.

5. The wiring location of the sensor should be away from electrical noise, such as high-power transformers, motors and power supplies.

6. There should be no radio transceiver near the sensor installation point, otherwise high-frequency noise will interfere with the normal use of the sensor.

2. The straight pipe section meets the requirements

2. When measuring gas flow with a vortex flowmeter, if the measured gas contains a small amount of liquid, the flowmeter should be installed at a higher point in the pipeline. When measuring liquid, if the liquid to be measured contains a small amount of gas, the flow meter should be installed at a lower point in the pipeline.

3. Pressure measuring hole and temperature measuring hole: When pressure measurement is required, the pressure measuring hole must be set 3D downstream of the flow meter. When temperature measurement is required, set the temperature sensor 5D downstream from the pressure measurement point.

3. The pipeline must not vibrate

During installation, the flow meter should be installed where the vibration acceleration is less than 20m/s2. When the vibration of the pipeline is too strong, the pipeline should be reinforced and supported.

About the gasket: Never protrude the gasket into the pipe, otherwise unacceptable errors will result.
