The balanced flow meter mainly consists of two parts, the sensor and the differential pressure transmitter. The structure of the sensor is very simple. It consists of a pipe with a balance piece welded inside. There are many small holes on the balance piece. The pressure pipes are welded with holes on the pipes on both sides of the balance piece. When the fluid flows to the sensor and is rectified when passing through the balance piece, the pressure values on both sides of the balance piece are different. It flows through the pressure tube to the differential pressure transmitter. The differential pressure transmitter converts the measured differential pressure value into Traffic size.
Normally, the balance piece in a balanced differential pressure flowmeter is not always located at the center of the sensor. The design of these differential pressure flow meters can vary, but the basic principle is to measure flow using the pressure difference created when fluid flows through a pipe.
The position of the balance plate may vary depending on the design. Different types of differential pressure flowmeters may have different constructions and balance plate positions, but generally, the balance plate is placed in the fluid flow. The position where the differential pressure can be sensed over time is not necessarily the center position of the sensor.
