The inner cone flowmeter is a V-cone flowmeter. It is a differential pressure flowmeter and has the same measurement principle as a balance flowmeter and an orifice flowmeter. The internal cone flowmeter (V-cone flowmeter) throttles the flow by suspending a special streamlined cone in the center of a closed pipe, and measures the differential pressure on the upstream pipe wall and the tail of the cone to calculate the flow rate.

V-cone flowmeter is a new type of differential pressure flow measurement instrument that uses an inner cone-shaped throttling member. This flow meter combines the advantages of a classic venturi tube, annular orifice plate and a wear-resistant orifice plate to calculate the flow rate by measuring the differential pressure generated by the flowing medium in the pipe.
