What kind of compensation method does the saturated steam vortex flowmeter use? Steam has two working states, one is saturated steam state and the other is superheated steam state. When the temperature and pressure in the pipe reach a relatively balanced state, it is a saturated steam state.
In the saturated steam state, saturation pressure and saturation temperature correspond to each other, that is, a certain saturation pressure must correspond to a certain saturation temperature. The density value can be obtained by numerical calculation of temperature or pressure or by looking up a table. When the pressure or temperature in the pipeline changes and the equilibrium state is broken, the steam in the pipeline is in a superheated steam state before it reaches equilibrium again.
Saturated steam uses temperature compensation and pressure compensation, which are essentially the same. They both find the density value through the functional relationship between temperature and pressure. Normally, only pressure compensation or only temperature compensation can be performed. However, the compensation accuracy that can be obtained by using temperature compensation and pressure compensation is not only related to the accuracy of the temperature sensor and pressure transmitter, but also related to the type of flow meter, the working conditions of the specific measurement object, and the range selection of the pressure transmitter. Generally speaking, temperature measurement has a greater impact on compensation accuracy. In order to measure the steam flow value more accurately and adapt to changes in the pipeline, a combination of a vortex flowmeter and a pressure transmitter can be used to measure saturated steam.
When measuring, the correct installation of the saturated steam vortex flowmeter is the key to ensuring its performance and accurate measurement. Please refer to the following installation steps and precautions.
1. Installation location selection: Choose a location suitable for installing the vortex flowmeter. Straight pipe sections located at least 10 times the pipe diameter upstream and at least 5 times the pipe diameter downstream should be selected. Avoid installation near elbows, valves, pumps, or other fluid-interfering equipment.
2. Installation direction: Vortex flowmeters usually have arrows indicating the flow direction of the fluid. Make sure the flow meter is installed correctly so that the arrow is in the direction of fluid flow.
3. Support and fixation: Ensure that the vortex flowmeter is firmly supported on the pipe and fixed with appropriate supports and fixtures. This helps protect the flow meter from external vibration or stress, maintaining a stable working environment.
4. Pipe preparation: Before installing the vortex flowmeter, make sure the inside of the pipe is clean and free of impurities or residues. Use appropriate methods to clean pipes to ensure accurate measurement and proper operation of the flow meter.
5. 6.
