This flow meter consists of two parts: the main body and the sensor. The main body contains an electromagnetic coil and a display for processing and displaying measurement data. The sensor is installed inside the pipe and is driven by the flow of fluid to induce electromotive force.

In operation, liquid flows through the pipe and passes through the sensor's magnetic field. The conductivity in a fluid makes it a conductor of electricity. When a fluid passes through a magnetic field, an electromotive force is generated that is proportional to the fluid's velocity. This electromotive force increases with the velocity of the fluid and is therefore related to the flow rate of the fluid.

The electromagnetic flowmeter determines the flow rate of the fluid by measuring this induced electromotive force, and calculates the accurate flow value. Because its measurement is not affected by factors such as fluid density, temperature, pressure, etc., it is widely used in industrial and municipal fields.
