Time: 2024-06-20
Large diameter electromagnetic flowmeter refers to the measurement of fluid flow in pipes with a large diameter.Often, large diameter electromagnetic flowmeters need to be professionally customized. In addition to measuring the volume flow of general conductive liquids, it can also be used to measure the volume flow of strong corrosive liquids such as strong acids and alkalis, and the volume flow of homogeneous liquid-solid two-phase suspended liquids such as slurry, mineral slurry and pulp. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, textile, paper, environmental protection, food and other industrial sectors and municipal management, water conservancy construction, river dredging and other areas of flow measurement.
Project Overview
Magnetic inductive flowmeter on the display is divided into: split electromagnetic flowmeter, a body electromagnetic flowmeter. The transmitter caliber is usually chosen to be the same caliber as the piping system. For electromagnetic flowmeter, the flow rate of 2-4m/s is more appropriate. In special circumstances. Such as liquid with solid particles, taking into account the wear and tear of the situation, can choose the common flow rate ≤ 3m/s.
The range of the transmitter can be selected according to two principles: one is that the full range of the instrument is greater than the expected maximum flow value, and the other is that the normal flow value is greater than 50% of the full range of the instrument to ensure a certain degree of measurement accuracy.
The advantages of large diameter electromagnetic flow meters can be summarized as follows:
- 1. Wide measurement range: electromagnetic flowmeter range is extremely wide, the same electromagnetic flowmeter range ratio can be up to 1:100 or even higher, applicable to a variety of different flow measurement needs.
- 2.High measurement accuracy: Since the principle of electromagnetic flow meter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, its measurement accuracy is high, usually up to 0.5 level or higher.
- 3.Unaffected by the characteristics of the fluid: electromagnetic flowmeter in the measurement process, not subject to the measured medium temperature, viscosity, density and conductivity (within a certain range), stable and reliable measurement results.
- 4.Since there are no moving parts in the structure, it can be applied to the measurement of various corrosive media by attaching a corrosion-resistant insulating lining and selecting electrodes made of corrosion-resistant materials to provide good corrosion resistance.
