Operation steps when measuring steam flow with porous balance flowmeter
When measuring steam flow, high-temperature steam should be prevented from directly entering the differential pressure meter. Generally, a condenser is installed at the pressure port of the sensor. The function of the condenser is to condense the measured steam and then enter the differential pressure gauge through the pressure tube. The operation is as follows: when the liquid temperature in the condenser drops below 80°C, first open the balance valve in the three-valve group, then slightly open the positive and negative pressure valves on the three-valve group, and discharge the gas from the exhaust needle on the differential pressure gauge. Drain all the air in the valve, then close the exhaust needle valve, and then close the balance valve on the three-valve group.
