Installation
1. The flow meter should be installed vertically (the angle between the center line of the flow meter and the plumb line does not exceed 5°). For newly installed pipelines, the flow meter should be installed before installation. Flush the pipes clean. The measured fluid enters from the lower end of the flowmeter and exits from the upper end.
2. The fluid to be measured should not be mixed with large particles of oil or dirt, otherwise the float will get stuck or block the passage of the flow meter, affecting the normal operation of the flow meter. For example, the fluid to be measured contains large particles or is dirty. , a filter should be installed upstream of the flow meter as needed.
3. The pressure of the fluid to be measured must be stable when entering the flow meter. If the flow rate of the measured fluid is pulsating, it will cause the float to fluctuate and prevent normal measurement. A buffer or setter of appropriate size should be installed upstream of the flow meter.
Usage
1. When using the flow meter, the regulating valve should be opened slowly to prevent the float from suddenly impacting upward and damaging the glass cone.
2. The reading position of the float is the top of the ball float.
3. Rapid changes in temperature of the fluid being measured should be avoided during use.
4. If leakage is found in the flow meter in use, the inlet and outlet connectors, the pressure nut of the needle valve and the tightening ring at the lower end of the glass cone tube should be tightened (from left to right). clockwise). If the above method does not work, the sealing ring usually fails and should be replaced.
5. If the cone tube and float are contaminated, they should be cleaned in time.
6. Check the error of the flow meter regularly. Once the specified tolerance is exceeded, the float and glass cone should be replaced or recalibrated.
7. When the measured fluid and state (temperature, pressure) are inconsistent with the flowmeter, the indication value must be corrected according to the fluid and state at the time of use.
8. The DK800-() type is used for the measurement of general fluids, and the DK800-()F type glass rotor flowmeter is used for the measurement of corrosive fluids.
