Different v-cone flowmeter installations for normal and high temperatures

Time: 2024-12-13
Equipment Configuration:v-cone flowmeter

There are some differences in the installation of V-cone flowmeters at room and high temperatures, mainly in the consideration of the environment, the use of accessories and installation details.

Project Overview

The installation diagram of the V-cone flowmeter when measuring normal temperature media is as follows:

The two pressure pipes are connected to the needle valve, and the upper end of the needle valve is connected to two pressure pipes. The top of the pressure pipe Next is the three-valve group, which is connected together with the differential pressure transmitter. When using it, make sure that the needle valve and the two valves on the side of the three-valve group are open, and the valve in the middle of the three-valve group must be closed. This way it can be put into use normally.

For high-temperature media, this installation method cannot be used. It is more recommended as shown below:

First of all, make sure that the direction of the pressure tube on the sensor is horizontal. Vertically upward, even if the on-site space is limited, the diagonal upward direction cannot exceed 45°. The needle valve is connected next. If you are measuring high-temperature gas, it is recommended to use a condensation tank. The installation direction of the condensation tank cannot be vertically upward. It should be downward. Then connect the three-valve group and the differential pressure transmitter.
