Pay attention to these requirements for steam prepaid flow meter installation

Project Overview

When installing the steam prepaid vortex flowmeter, you should pay attention to the following points:

• The steam prepaid vortex flowmeter cannot be welded with the sensor when welding the flange and the straight pipe section. When installing, the flow direction mark of the sensor should be consistent with the flow direction of the fluid in the pipeline.

• Before the sensor is installed, a sealing ring must be placed in the flange groove. As for the location of the pressure and temperature measurement points, the pressure measurement point is 3 to 5 DN downstream of the sensor, and the temperature measurement point is 5 to 8 DN downstream.

  

• When the vortex flow sensor measures high-temperature media, do not wrap the sensor connecting rod with thermal insulation material.

• The shielded cable connecting the sensor should be as far away from strong electromagnetic fields as possible. It is not allowed to be laid together with high-voltage cables. Shielded cables should be shortened as much as possible and must not be coiled to reduce distributed inductance. The maximum length should not exceed 100 meters.
