Turbine flowmeter is an instrument commonly used for gas flow measurement. It has the characteristics of simple structure, lightweight, high precision, good repeatability, sensitive response and easy installation and maintenance.
However, the temperature resistance of the gas turbine flowmeter is not very good. It can measure media with a temperature range of -20℃~+120℃, but it can only be measured when the ambient temperature is - 20℃~+60℃. It is far behind the differential pressure flowmeter that can measure temperatures up to more than 700 degrees Celsius. And when the temperature is low, the performance of the transmitter will also be affected.
So under extreme temperatures, it is not suitable to use turbine flow meters to measure gas flow. Because the temperature resistance of the turbine flowmeter is not its advantage.
